  • Calvary Chapel Cumberland supports Village to Village Ministries International. Village to Village International is a non-profit ministry  committed to encourage local churches to touch God’s people who are living in hard-to-reach areas of the world. Village to Village is dedicated to bringing hope to children who live in underprivileged areas through education, to providing opportunities to women shunned by society to establish self-sufficiency through sewing centers, to providing medical assistance to those in need through surgeries, providing prosthetic land for the treatment of other medical needs. Recently, special efforts were made to help in the aftermath of horrendous and devastating floods in Pakistan. Through all this work, Village to Village focuses on it's main goal: to know God and make Him known to others. 


    Also, I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:

    “Whom shall I send,  And who will go for Us?”

  • Union Rescue Mission of Western MD

    Calvary Chapel supports the Union Rescue Mission.  The Union Rescue Mission is a non-profit Christian mission located nearby in downtown Cumberland, Maryland. Their primary ministry is to feed, clothe, shelter and spread the gospel to those in need. Functioning on on voluntary donations, the mission provides shelters for homeless men, women, families and handicapped persona as well as basic needs for work and housing. The Union Rescue Mission provides approximately 73,000 nutritious meals a year to residents and anyone in the community who is in need.

  • Chosen People Ministries

    Calvary Chapel Cumberland supports Chosen People Ministries. Chosen People Ministries was founded in 1894 to share the knowledge of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah with God's chosen people. Existing in eighteen countries around the globe, the purpose of Chosen People Ministries is to pray for, evangelize, disciple and serve Jewish people. Outreach programs equip local churches for Jewish evangelism and proclaiming the good news through Jesus the Messiah throughout the world. 


    "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."

  • World Relief

    Calvary Chapel Cumberland supports World Relief in Ukraine. World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization who aim is to bring hope, healing and restoration to people in need through disaster response, health development, economic development and peace building, as well as immigration and welfare services. World Relief partners with churches and communities to provide relief from suffering and to help people who are in need to rebuild their lives. Originally founded as a War Relief Commission after World War II, it was renamed World Relief in 1950 and is currently providing for victims and those in need in war-torn Ukraine. 



    "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

  • Samaritan's Purse International Relief

    Calvary Chapel supports Samaritain's Purse International Relief. Samaritan's Purse is a Christian organization that provides spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Volunteers reach out to help those who are suffering from poverty, natural disasters, disease, war, famine and more. In addition to providing volunteer time and workmanship to rebuild and restore homes and perhaps the livelihood of the who have lost it, volunteers offer comfort through sharing the gospel and God's love. Samaritan's Purse also prepares and collects 'shoeboxes' of gifts from children around the world in its "Operation Christmas Child." All this is accomplished through church volunteers.
